On the roof of the fort

The roof of the fort in the old days was also used as emplacement of guns, of which there were more than two dozen. The picture shows an iron-bound parapet, in the background - the southern part of the Kronstadt dam (the picture is taken to the West). On the breastwork there are still hooks for fastening the gun's carriage.
