North side of the fortress

It is reported that Ahrensburg had an considerable artillery during the Northern War of 1700-1721. In 1710, shortly after the fall of Pernov fortress, the fortress of Ahrensburg was captured by Russian troops. Bastions of the fortress had some damage during this period either during the capture of the fortress in 1710, or later in 1711, when the island of Ezel was finally conquered by the Russians.
