The tower 'Long Herman'

The photo has been taken from the north-eastern side of the Castle building. Height of Long Herman is 37 meters, the Castle has meters in dimensions 43 x 43 meters with walls thickness of 1.5-2 meters. The tower was erected about 1260's. On the right you can see the Sturvolt Tower (Stubborn Wolf), started in the 1320's. Wooden shed atop the Castle wall consist the lifting mechanic of gate portcullis.
