The villa
The area marked on the excavation plans as 'Villa' is covered by a temporary roof to protect it from the rain. And for good reason - there are beautiful mosaic floors, and around the subtropical climate and the Mediterranean Sea with its winter storms. Protecting everything excavated in Caesarea is a big problem.
