Trenches

The battery has a rich developed ground defense, consisting of trenches, small infantry shelters and firing posts.
Since the 1960s Germany sought to buy the tower in order to install it in Kiel as a museum exhibit. The Norwegians seemed to agree, but all deal sank into a bureaucratic swamp, although the Germans promised to pay all the costs of dismantling and transportation.
