The battery on Orlandet received the designation MKB 4/507 Orlandet (Marine-Kusten-Battarie), Norwegians after the war named it Fort Austrott after the nearest village. The guns were transported to Norway on requisitioned Danish railway ferries. The Germans also had to build a cargo port at nearest town Brekstad.
The photo shows a bunker near the road to the battery. On the left is a machine-gun embrasure, on the right is an anti-tank gun.
