Fiskar archipelago

Fisk in Swedish means 'fish'. That is, therefore, Fiskar is a 'Fish Island' (Stora Fiskär, Finn. Kiuskeri). Indeed, in the old days, the island was covered up with fishermen's cabins, which in winter were pulled out into the sea ice, closer to the holes for winter fishing. Tehere is a distance up to 10 km to the mainland, and more than 60 kilometers to Vyborg.
