Traverse of 6 inch battery
Travers is the special concrete construction intended for separation of gun's emplacement. So called "slanting" traverse is on the photo. The splinters of exploding shells will rebuffed to the rearward of the battery (not inside of emplacements) because of special form of traverse's walls.
