On the northeastern coast of the island there was once a little barracks town of wooden houses on concrete basements. Among them, as they say, stood out a two-story building of the dining room, where you could always get fresh donuts and hot coffee from the pretty barmaid of the Finnish 'Society for Assisting Soldiers of Coastal Artillery' and the building of the officers mess with parquet, curtains, billiards, gramophone, piano etc... It is hard to believe in it now.
