Gun #2 and bunker of #1 emplacement are on the photo. This is only gun preserved at Vara battery. Guns #2&3 were scarped in 1962 after battery was decommissioned.
The battery was constructed for covering entrance to the baltic sea in connection with the sister battery in Hanstholm, Denmark.
