Main square

The central square of the city with a monument to King Frederick II. On the left is the building of the soldiers' barracks built in 1783-87. The building is quite extensive - it is the second largest in the city after the Old Warehouses. Designed for living of approximately 1000 soldiers. Before the construction of these barracks, the townsfolk were forced to take all this horde to their quarters.
