Everything is like in the painting by E. Gau from the previous photo. Eduard Gau was a master of interior painting, he was an academician, and not just an academician, but an “academician of promising watercolor painting.” He painted 60 watercolor paintings of the interiors of the Gatchina Palace and without him, of course, it would not been possible to restore these interiors all to such an extent.
