Passage to the tower

The structure once had a through passage, just like a fortress gate tower. The picture also shows traces of repairs carried out by some Soviet foreman, overcome by metal-alcohol psychosis. The scaffolding was installed in the 2010s, at which time the tower was strengthened with metal beams.
