Machine gun bunker and medieval towers of Visby

Another sample of local fortification. Experience Soviet-Finnish Winter War of 1939-40 was taken into account not only by Finns. Instead of erected huge and expensive installations many small bunkers were constructed.
In the picture 3 embrasures MG bunker for 6.5 mm light machine gun or 8 mm heavy water-cooled machine gun is shown.
