Bunker

Tingstad fortified area is located in the north half of Gotland island and consists of numerous warehouses and barracks, chains of infantry strong points, covered by artillery fire.
This concrete bunker was built in 1912-14 as a shelter for 48 men of nearby situated artillery battery. In the old days it was diked and surrounded by ramparts rifle for defense. In the 1940s the bunker was converted into a warehouse.
