Varvara the sutler

Varvara Schantin 1870-1941. There is a remarkable monument with  stainless steel near to the fortress bastions. It was built on former cadet's money in 1972. Above a patty and food tradeswoman Varvara was a value "tactical adviser" for poor cadets. Many years she worked with her food cart near to the Cadet School on the tactical grounds and knew all entrenchments, MG nests, etc. and could give the cue about some tight question during the field exercises.
