Underground shelter

Batteries on the islands of Granholmen (152 mm) and Øre (305 mm) opened fire from a distance of about 10 km on the island and Soviet ships. Finnish artillery managed to drive away Soviet ships from the island and thereby ensure the possibility of landing Finnish reinforcements from the nearby island of Hitis.
