Steel heel

After being installed in position, the railway gun's transporter with the implement lowers a special stop onto this heel and, using a jack, is slightly raised above the surface so as to be able to rotate 360 ​​degrees. This heel is capable of withstanding not only the enormous weight of the transporter with the gun (the barrel alone weighs more than 60 tons), but also the monstrous recoil when it fired.
