Soldiers mess

What about soldier's mess menu? Beef steak, cabbage pudding, beef stew, and of course, the peas with pork. After lunch - the dessert: fruit cream or rice pudding. Canned fruit and cream were popular too. There was a a stock of provisions for 5 months of autonomous existence on the battery.
