Artillery of the fort

The main weapon of the fort were of 120 mm Schneider-Canet L/40 turret guns. In 1906, both of these turrets were installed in the fortress Fredriksten in southern Norway, but in 1915 they were moved here. Weight of turret - 46 tons, firing range - 11.3 km , high explosive-fragmentation shells weight - 20.4 kg.; crew - 7 Gunners and 2 spotter.
Also the fort was armed with 120 mm Schneider-Canet L/14 howitzers with a fire range of 7.3 km. It's seems howitzers were to scraped by Germans.
