Navy Central Research Laboratory

On the one hand it is not about fortifications and coastal artillery at all. On the other hand it was used for test submarine's models, and submarines can be considered as a floating underwater fortress. Finally the Laboratory had the department of coastal fortification engineering equipment development. So we assume that is our topic.
In the photo the building of a large hydro-wave pool of Research Scientific Institute #12 of the Soviet Navy. All of this is located in 1-2 km to the west of the fort Ino itself.
