106 mm recoilless rifle

American M-40 recoilless rifle, model 1953, on an improvised carriage. The weight of the projectile is 18 kg, the cartridge is unitary with a special perforated sleeve for the release of powder gases. Range is 6.8 km for a high-explosive fragmentation projectile and 1.4 km for a cumulative anti-tank projectile, armor penetration up to 350 mm. The weapon is simple and reliable. The best thing is to fire to pillbox embrasures. I can’t say who this particular one belonged to, maybe the Jordanians, or maybe the Israelis.
