Tower of David over Jerusalem

The photo was taken from the battle passage of the fortress wall. On the right you can see the minaret, which everyone calls the Tower of David, along with the characteristic hinged loopholes. There, between the buttresses, there are openings through which all sorts of nasty things, like boiling tar, donkey urine, etc., can be poured onto the enemy crowding in the ditch under the walls of the Citadel.
