Security guard

The gate is guarded by guys from the border police (special unit 'Magav'). They have all the powers of the police (and police equipment too), but in case of emergency they can act as a military unit. These guys, along with police batons, are armed with M-4s, pistols, and I don’t know what they have in their backpacks - apparently ammunition for a day’s battle... A common thing in Israel.
