View from Jaffa Gate

View from the Jaffa Gate along the wall in a northwest direction along the Jaffa highway and onto the promenade along the wall. Square towers are visible, slightly protruding beyond the line of the walls - there are 34 such towers in the fortress. There are 344 embrasures in the walls and towers for shooting from bows, fuses and falconets.
