Church of John Climacus (1572)

The main entrance to the monastery. The gate itself was built in 1524, the church above it during the time of Ivan the Terrible, with donations from his sons Ivan and Fyodor. The gate has two passages. The big one was opened only on major holidays, the small ones on all other days.
