Gallery of the second tier near the corner tower
The second tier of galleries is covered with brick cross arches. A cross vault is the intersection of two cylindrical arches. It was invented to redirect the load from the walls to the support pools. The walls are whitewashed, renovated, and visit here allowed only in summer.
