On the shore of Lake Siverskoye

The Vepsians knew this lake under the name 'Suvajarve', which means 'Deep Lake'. It seems that this is where its current name comes from. The lake has glacial origin, it is the largest in the local lake system, its greatest depth is 29 meters.
