You can reach the fortress in the space of 1,5-2 hours by a car. If you have no car (God forbid!), you should take an electric train on Finland railway station in S-Petersburg and spend 3 hours for the trip to Priozersk. A fair food supply, good beer and thick book on history of native land will help you to endure this long trip.
It is not a long way from the Priozersk station to the fortress. It will take near to 15 minutes. You should go to the Hiitola highway, then make a right turn and go to the bridge over Vuoksa river. There is the WWII monument (IS-3 tank) just on the right after the bridge, as a reference point. The fortress is seen from this point.
