Inner defence line consists of ramparts and ditches and forms a bastion frontline. There were three bastions at all but western one was demolished soon during the construction of 12 inches batteries. Rampart height is near to 3-4 m., ditches depth - 1-1.5 m. The barbed wire fences on metal posts of 7-8 rows completed the defence.
