Casemate

Armoured roof of the casemate is made with specially designed curved beams with a "memory metal" able to withstand of large-caliber projectiles hits.
Shortly after the construction of the battery Grey Horse fort acquired the status of an independent fort with task of covering the distant approaches to Krasnaya Gorka fort.
