Firepost near mortar battery #1

These batteries are located at the western part of Kotlin island on so called kosa or foreland to the east of Schanetz fort. Until recently, the batteries were military objectives and were not available for visit, but this has changed recently summer 2014.
Just at entrance to the battery #1 two rangefinder pavilions are at artificial hills. One of them is on the photo.
