Battery "Demidoff"

This battery was built in 1902-1908 on the site of an old redoubt "Demidoff". It consists of 6 emplacements of 6-inch quick-firing Canet guns separated with big concrete traverses. In the picture are clearly visible rails for shell's trolleys, with which projectiles and charges were delivered to the gun from casemates inside the traverses.
