There are some interesting and curious structures of the middle and late 19th century in the rear of the lunette. In the picture a brick building with powerful arches, presumably - an Artillery Laboratory of 1860-70-s. Its thick walls pierced by windows, but the brick wings near the entrances (by the way there are two), show that the building if necessary, could be diked by earth on all sides (as we shall see later the example of other similar structure).
