Monument of Peter I in Petrovsky Park. The monument by sculptor Jaco was erected in 1841, after which in the area current park was established. The figure of the tzar is said to be unreliable, because he was exceedingly lanky, stoop-shouldered and had thin legs, and was himself like monument of Mikhail Shemyakin in the Peter and Paul Fortress. However, in the 1840s under Nicholas I reign Shemyakin could easily be exiled on Caucasus War or even in to the jail of Trubetzkoy bastion in the Peter and Paul Fortress.
