This is a chief landmark of Kronstadt. It was founded in 1903 and completed in 1913 by the project of architect V.Kosyakov. In 1930 the Cathedral was closed by Soviet power and revolutionary soldiers and sailors club was established here. In 1932, local administration tried to blow it up, but failed. The Cathedral was left, but at first it was converted into a club named of Maxim Gorky ('in common parlance -'Maximka'), and then in concert hall. The picture shows sight of the cathedral before renovation in 2010.
