First Russian fortification concrete installation

One of the first in the Russia underground concrete structures for military purposes is on the photo. The first test firing with 9-inch "torpedo-bombs" from a distance of 1.5 km have been made to this casemate back in 1890. Construction has been made perfectly, as seen in the picture. According to the results of firing it was decided to strengthen the ceilings with metal beams.
