Central mortar battery
In 1899-1908 the old fortifications were demolished and in theirs place built a new concrete artillery fort with three concrete batteries - the central mortar battery and two flank cannon batteries, connected by a earthen rampart. View from firepost of 1940s towards North flank battery.
