Climbing to the upper fortifications of the fortress
The ascent is equipped with numerous cleverly designed traverses, allowing one to defend against an advancing enemy. The initial plan for the fortifications was drawn up by Jacob Johan Faber, and the construction was supervised by General Axel von Löwen.
