20th century fortification - Salpa line

In the northern part of Lapeenranta, just among the urban development, if you look hard enough, you can find more advanced fortifications. In 1940-41, immediately after the end of the Winter War, the Finns began to fortify the new border? wich was near the Lappeenranta.
