War cemetery Sankarihautausmaa

The soldiers who died in 1939-44 - natives of Lappeenranta were buried here, total 2068 people. This is one of the largest war graves in Finland. The cemetery is located in the very center of the city, which is quite common for this country (in our country, cemeteries are usually on the outskirts).
