This model was developed in England as an infantry tank in 1939-1940. It was slow-moving machine with weak gun, but it had a very thick armor up to 152 mm. Sir Winston Churchill said that this tank "has more disadvantages than I have!" These tanks were distributed under the Lend-Lease to the USSR and there was nicknamed as BM-5 (bratskaya mogila or common grave for five). Israelis got (stole) one of such tank in 1948.
