MG casemate of Le-7 bunker

Sight of a machine gun casemates from the front. It's top floor and the front wall were made with thick armor plateswith narrow MG loopholes. This progressive design can significantly reduce the silhouette of the structure and size of embrasures and thus increase the survivability of the bunker. Additionally Le sector had a lines of antitank and antipersonnel obstacles as well as a zone of artificial flooding of the river Perijoki directly in front Le-7 and Le-6 bunkers.
