Lahti-Saloranta M/26

Lahti-Saloranta M/26

Light Finnish machine gun model 1926 with a magazine for 20 shots. Such machine guns were produced until 1942, after which the Finns switched to using the Dyagterev DT machine gun, several thousand of which by that time had been captured by by Finns. Lahti-Saloranta was in service until 1966, and even now there are apparently a considerable number of them in the warehouses of the Finnish army.
