The Sj-5 bunker was covered by anti-tank ditch and this line of tank obstacles. Soviet infantry used this ditch to accumulate before the attack on the bunker, and these "dragon's teeth" were not an insurmountable barrier for Soviet medium tanks.
There was no wood in 1939, absolutely bare space.
