Hermann tower has 51 height, 8 floors and it's walls has up to 4 m thick. It is one of the greatest towers in whole Estonia. The height of the tower relatively river level is 71 m. There were several reconstructions of the tover in 15BC. The tower was named as Long Hermann in the beginning of Livonian War after name of magister Livonian Order Hermann fon Bruggney-Gazenkampf.
