Casemate's frontal wall with embrasure

The frontal walls of the casemates were covered by granite blocks. The bricked gun's embrasure is seen in the center of the wall. Later 1870-th the fort was rearmed with new guns of 1877 model which cold not be placed in these casemates and they has been reconstructed as warehouses and they frontal walls were covered by earth banquettes.
