Gun embrasures

Forts number number 6 and 4 are different from the rest of other forts in the original lay-out resembles a mushroom if you see at them from the top. In the stem of this mushroom are casemated flanking battery designed for shooting in the gaps between the forts. Embrasure of one such battery are on the picture.
