Spasskaya Tower

This passage tower, so named because of the presence of the gateway Church of the Savior. It has a clearly visible outward slope, due to which it could be called 'Novgorod-Pisan'. Problems with fortifications sliding into the ditch were noted here back in the 16th century. Festoons, rosettes and other architectural excesses are alterations from the 17th century.
