Passage of the Spasskaya Tower

This gate once led from the Lyudin end to Episcopal Street in Detinets. The passage could be blocked by a gersa (lowered grate). The gate was covered with dirt in the 18th century and excavated again in 1937. Rusty metal beams are 'restoration' of the Soviet era of the 1970s.
